1200 TVL turret camera for analogue systems

This Bluecctv BL-IR9542VF-G-2812 delivers 1200 TV lines of colour resolution and 720P output over HD-TVI, HD-CVI or HD-AHD. It suits installers upgrading legacy coaxial runs who need selectable PAL or NTSC operation and on-screen menu control.

Vari-focal lens with 3-axis adjustment

A 2.8-12 mm varifocal lens lets the installer set the exact field of view on site. The three-axis bracket keeps the image level whether the camera is mounted on a wall or ceiling. New SMD IR LEDs model BL-1236V provide up to 100 ft night vision with Smart IR to prevent centre white-out.

Replaces fixed-lens analogue cameras

The vari-focal range and 1/3 inch Sony 1.3 megapixel Exmor sensor upgrade fixed wide-angle units that cannot be tuned per scene. 3D digital noise reduction and IR-cut filtering improve low-light clarity over older CCD models. Buyers who need IP networking or motorised zoom will require a different platform.

Questions about this item

What resolution does the 720P HD-analog output cap at on this BL-IR9542VF-G-2812?

The camera delivers 720P resolution over HD-TVI, HD-CVI or HD-AHD, selectable via the OSD menu.

What mounting clearance does the 3-axis turret design need on a wall or ceiling?

The 3-axis bracket lets you rotate and tilt the eyeball so the image stays level on any flat surface; allow enough depth for the vari-focal lens barrel.

How do you switch between TVI, CVI and AHD modes on this camera, and what step is often missed?

Use the OSD joystick on the video lead to select the desired HD-analog format; the change only takes effect after you power-cycle the 12 V DC supply.
