Analog security camera with 580 TV lines, 2.8-12mm vari-focal lens and 42 IR LEDs for 50-60 feet night vision
This analogue CCTV camera captures 580 TV Lines of resolution through a 1/3" Sony Super HAD II CCD with 768 by 494 effective pixels. The 2.8 to 12mm vari-focal lens lets you adjust the field of view on site. It runs on 12V DC and is housed in a grey weatherproof case for outdoor mounting.
The unit needs a 12V DC supply and a coaxial run to a DVR that accepts analogue composite video. Its vari-focal lens removes the need to stock multiple fixed lenses, so one model covers wide and narrow angles. The weatherproof housing means no extra enclosure is required for exposed eaves or walls.
Forty-two infrared LEDs provide 0 Lux illumination out to 50 to 60 feet, giving usable night footage for typical driveway or perimeter zones. Beyond that range the IR falls off, so larger yards or long corridors will need supplemental lighting or a different camera. The 580 TV Line sensor delivers clear standard-definition detail but cannot resolve the finer detail of high-definition analogue formats.
