Captures 1080P HD-SDI video across a 180° fisheye view with IR night vision in a vandal-proof mini dome housing
The Bluecctv HD-SDI fisheye camera delivers a 180 degree panoramic view using a 2.0 megapixel CMOS sensor and FPGA processing. It captures 1920x1080 resolution over coaxial cable for wide-area surveillance. The vandal-resistant mini dome suits indoor or outdoor installations needing a single wide-angle perspective. Buyers requiring narrower fields of view or IP network streaming should consider other form factors.
The camera runs on 12V DC with low power consumption and built-in IR LEDs for night monitoring. Digital WDR and 3D digital noise reduction maintain image clarity in mixed lighting without active cooling. Silent solid-state operation suits noise-sensitive ceilings or walls. Installers needing PoE power delivery or heater-equipped housings for extreme cold will need separate solutions.
A rugged vandal-proof enclosure protects the sensor and lens from tampering and weather. RS-485 support allows remote OSD configuration via compatible DVRs or controllers. An onboard OSD menu button provides local setup access when RS-485 is not used. Systems without coaxial HD-SDI infrastructure or RS-485 matrix keyboards cannot integrate this unit directly.

Connect a regulated 12 V DC supply to the camera’s power input and run a twisted pair to the RS-485 terminals; the on-screen display button lets you set the camera ID and baud rate so the DVR recognises it.
The IR LEDs gradually lose output over years of night operation; the CMOS sensor itself is solid-state and does not wear out, so only the illuminators may eventually require swapping.
When scene illumination drops below the sensor’s native sensitivity, 3D DNR can no longer suppress noise without introducing motion blur, so the image becomes grainy despite the algorithm.
