Compact 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD camera delivers 600TVL resolution through a 2.9mm fixed lens with 0.05 lux color sensitivity
The Computar Ganz MCWB-2.9N is a 600TVL analog CCTV camera built around a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD. Its 2.9mm fixed lens and extreme low-light sensitivity down to 0.0001 Lux with Sens-Up make it suitable for ATM and similar indoor security monitoring. The unit operates on 12VDC power.
The camera measures 36mm x 40mm x 38mm and weighs 0.2lbs, allowing placement in tight enclosures. Connection uses a standard composite video output at 1.0Vp-p 75 Ohm alongside the 12VDC supply drawing 160mA. Ensure the operating temperature stays within 14°F to 122°F and that the fixed 2.9mm focal length matches the required field of view.
Video transmits over a single composite cable at 600TVL resolution with 768 x 494 effective pixels. The 2:1 interlace sync and 75 Ohm impedance restrict cable runs compared to modern digital interfaces. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 52dB with AGC off, while shutter speeds range from 1/60 to 1/90,000 sec for varied lighting.
