  • Requires only a USB port and CD-ROM drive

12-inch USB to RS-232 adapter cable

This Bluecctv cable converts a USB port into a DB-9 male serial connection for legacy devices. It adds a virtual COM port to Windows PCs and measures 12 inches in length. A driver CD is included for installation on systems that require it.

Systems needing serial control without native ports

Ideal for DVR installers adding PTZ control or technicians accessing older RS-232 peripherals through modern USB-only computers. Not suitable for buyers who need longer reach between equipment or for devices requiring a female DB-9 connector.

DB-9 male connector gender

The cable terminates in a DB-9 male plug, so it mates directly with female serial ports on cameras or controllers. Verify that your target equipment presents a matching female RS-232 socket before purchasing.
