Smart Bluetooth Thermometer with 1.5m Probe

This Bluetooth refrigerator thermometer includes a 1.5 metre probe that reaches inside fridges, freezers or fish tanks while the main unit stays outside. It measures temperature from minus 40 to 65 Celsius and humidity from 0 to 99 percent RH, making it suitable for home, garden or cold-storage monitoring. The device runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included.

Sustained Monitoring and Alert Behaviour

A one-second refresh rate provides continuous tracking during long storage periods, and the sensor maintains an accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 Celsius and plus or minus 5 percent RH throughout. When readings drift outside user-set limits, the paired app pushes an alert to the phone so adjustments can be made before contents are affected. Historical curves and MAX/MIN logs are stored on the device and can be exported for later review.

Compatibility and Setup Checks

The monitor communicates solely over Bluetooth, so the smartphone must be within radio range of the unit; no Wi-Fi or cloud relay is supported. Verify that the app is available for the phone's operating system before purchase. Two AAA cells are required to power the unit and are not supplied in the box.

Questions about this item

How often does the 1.5m probe refresh temperature readings during continuous monitoring?

The probe updates every 1 second, so the app shows near real-time temperature and humidity changes throughout the day.

What batteries must I supply before the thermometer will pair with the app?

You need to install two AAA batteries, which are not included in the box, before the Bluetooth connection can be established.

Will the Bluetooth-only link still work if my phone is in another room?

The device uses Bluetooth rather than Wi-Fi, so range depends on walls and distance; it is designed for local monitoring rather than whole-house coverage.
