4-watt surface-mount speaker

The Bogen MB8TSQ is a surface-mounted speaker designed for paging and background-music systems. Its all-steel enclosure houses an 8-inch full-range cone driver rated for 4 watts maximum output. The unit includes hardware for wall or ceiling installation.

Installers needing 25 V or 70 V line compatibility

This speaker suits commercial installations that run 25 V or 70 V amplifier lines and require selectable power taps from 4 W down to 1/8 W. It is not intended for low-impedance home hi-fi systems or applications demanding high-output music reproduction.

Multiple transformer taps from 4 W to 1/8 W

Six tap settings let the installer match the speaker's power draw to the amplifier load budget without changing hardware. Selecting the correct tap determines whether the MB8TSQ fits the system design.
