Guest chair with sled base

The BOSS B9521-BK is a fixed-height guest chair upholstered in commercial-grade black fabric. A welded black sled base replaces casters, so the seat glides across hard floors and low-pile carpet without rolling away. Contoured seat and back cushions deliver firm lumbar support for visitors who sit for short periods.

Waiting areas and meeting rooms

This chair suits reception zones, conference rooms and private offices where a stable, non-swivel seat is preferred. The 275 lb capacity covers most adults, while the fixed arms clear table edges when the chair is pulled in. Buyers who need height adjustment, tilt, casters or a higher weight rating should look at task or executive models instead.

275 lb weight capacity

The sled frame is rated for 275 lb, which is the single figure that determines whether the chair matches the intended users. If the environment requires a higher tested limit, this model will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the B9521 guest chair in black fabric or another colour option?

The B9521 is only offered in black fabric with a black sled base, so there is no alternative colour to choose from.

What does the 275 lb weight capacity mean when the chair is used daily?

The chair is rated for 275 lb static load; the manufacturer also notes a 250 lb maximum for everyday use, so stay within the lower figure for regular seating.

Does the sled base have casters or glides, and what floor types does it suit?

The chair has no casters; the fixed sled base slides smoothly over both hard floors and carpet without scratching.
