Ergonomic 20-sheet stapler pair

The Bostitch 02257-2PK supplies two black desktop staplers built with all-metal construction and an ergonomic shape that includes raised bumps for a secure grip. Each unit handles up to 20 sheets of paper and opens flat for bulletin-board tacking or craft projects. A dual clinch mechanism lets the user choose between permanent and temporary clinching. A clear window shows when a staple reload is needed.

Standard-staple interface limits

Both staplers accept a full strip of standard SBS191/4CP staples, so the only consumable is a widely available office staple size. The mechanism is manual, requiring hand pressure for every staple, which caps practical throughput at the speed of the operator. No electric assist or alternative staple gauges are supported, so heavy-volume binding tasks will feel slow.

Capacity and headroom

Twenty sheets per press covers typical reports, handouts and multi-page letters without jamming. Thicker stacks or heavyweight card stock exceed the rated limit and will either mis-clinch or stall the mechanism. The two-pack arrangement gives a spare unit for a second workstation or a backup when one stapler runs dry, but it does not increase the per-staple sheet capacity.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 2-pack or a single stapler?

The 2-pack includes two identical black staplers, each with all-metal construction and a 20-sheet capacity. Buying the pair gives you a spare for another desk or a backup without reordering.

Will the 20-sheet rating handle my thick reports?

The 20-sheet capacity is measured with standard 20 lb paper. Heavier stock or coated pages will reduce the practical maximum, so test a few sheets first.

What staple size does the SBS191/4CP spec mean for daily use?

SBS191/4CP denotes a full strip of standard 1/4-inch leg staples. They are the common office size sold everywhere, so refills are easy to find.
