Compact Metal Stapler for Handheld Use

The Swingline Optima Grip S7087816 is a compact, all-metal stapler built for handheld operation or small desks. Its ergonomic cushion grip prevents slipping during repetitive stapling tasks. A low-staple indicator signals when a refill is needed. The spring-loaded mechanism allows quick, front-access reloading.

Upgrade from Standard Compact Models

This model fastens up to 25 sheets, offering a 25 percent larger capacity than most compact staplers. The jump is worth it for users who regularly bind thicker document sets but prefer a smaller footprint than a full-size desktop unit. It also opens fully for tacking papers to bulletin boards or vertical surfaces.

Check Staple Compatibility and Workload

Verify that your staple supply matches Swingline Optima or S.F. 3 staples with quarter-inch legs for reliable, jam-free performance. The magazine holds up to 105 staples per load. Buyers needing to fasten more than 25 sheets at once or requiring high-volume automated stapling should consider a different class of device.
