  • 75 Ohm impedance maintains signal integrity for video and RF systems
  • Female-to-female feed-through design joins two BNC cables through a panel
  • XLR/D-type panel cut-out fits standard equipment racks and enclosures
  • Zinc alloy die-cast housing protects connections in harsh environments
  • Panel mount receptacle enables custom RF input and output configurations

Product Identity

This is a 75 Ohm BNC panel mount adapter with female-to-female feed-through connectivity. It serves installers and technicians who need a bulkhead connection for coaxial cables in fixed installations.

Suitability

The adapter suits video security camera systems, CATV distribution, surveillance engineering and laboratory RF setups that use a standard XLR or D-type panel cut-out. It is not for users who need an in-line cable coupler without panel mounting or those requiring a different impedance value for specific applications.

Deciding Specification

The connector presents a 75 Ohm impedance, which determines compatibility with the coaxial cable and system design. Matching this figure to the intended signal path is the single factor that decides whether the part is correct for the job.

Questions about this item

Does this adapter need a D-type panel cutout already cut in my rack or enclosure?

Yes, the adapter is built to the industrial-standard D-type panel aperture so it mounts directly into an existing D-type cutout.

Will a 75 Ohm BNC cable from an older CCTV system connect without signal mismatch?

The adapter is a 75 Ohm female-to-female feed-through, so it preserves the 75 Ohm impedance of legacy coaxial cables.

How can I confirm the connection is solid after mounting the adapter?

A firm click when the BNC plugs lock into each jack and a stable video or RF signal on the connected equipment show it is working.
