Boxwave DisplayPort to VGA Adapter 4 Pack Gold-Plated Male to Female

Boxwave DisplayPort to VGA Adapter 4 Pack

This four-pack of gold-plated adapters connects a DisplayPort source to displays that accept only VGA input. Each unit converts the digital signal to analogue for monitors, projectors or HDTVs. A separate VGA cable is required to complete the link. The compact design suits mobile professionals who need a reliable connection on the move.

Check your source port and cable

Verify that the computer or laptop provides a standard DisplayPort output, not a Mini DisplayPort or USB-C alt-mode port. The adapter is male-to-female, so a VGA cable must be purchased separately if one is not already available. Remember the converter is unidirectional; it will not pass a signal from a VGA source to a DisplayPort display. No driver installation is required for operation.

Replaces single adapters for multi-display setups

Buyers running several VGA screens from one multi-output graphics card can replace individual converters with this matched set. The jump is worth it when equipping a conference room, classroom or multi-monitor desk where consistent 1920x1080@60Hz performance across all ports matters. It is not for users who need bi-directional conversion or resolutions above 1080p.
