F-Type Female-to-Female Coupler Pack

These Boxwave F81 adapters join two male F-type cables to extend a coaxial run. The five-piece silver set suits installers connecting cable boxes, satellite receivers, cable modems or off-air antennas indoors or outdoors. Each coupler is individually wrapped to prevent scratches before use. They accept standard male F-type connectors and wall plates.

3 GHz High-Frequency Rating

The connectors are specified to 3 GHz, so they pass modern digital TV, broadband and satellite signals without the roll-off seen in lower-rated barrel types. Nickel-plated brass construction meets tight return-loss and insertion-loss figures for reliable throughput. Flat port ends seal against moisture and reject RF and EM hum or static on the line.

Low-Profile 1.02 Inch Length

Each coupler adds only 1.02 inches to the cable run, keeping the joint compact behind wall plates or inside tight enclosures. Individual packaging protects the threads during storage and transport. The five-pack provides enough couplers for multi-room drops or spare parts without ordering separate units.

Questions about this item

What does the 3 GHz rating mean when I use these couplers in a real system?

The 3 GHz rating means the couplers pass satellite, cable-TV and broadband signals up to 3 GHz without degrading the signal, so they work with modern digital TV and internet services.

What F-type interface do these use and what does it limit in practice?

They use standard F-type female threads on both ends, limiting you to male F-type plugs from coax cables, wall plates or splitters — no BNC, RCA or other connector types will fit.

How much length does each coupler add to the cable run?

Each coupler adds 1.02 cm to the overall run, so five in series would add just over 5 cm while keeping a low-profile fit behind equipment or in wall plates.
