11pt Manila File Folders with Fasteners

These 11pt manila folders feature full-cut end tabs and bonded fasteners at positions one and three. They arrive new in a box of 50 and are printed with the word Confidential on the front. The two-ply reinforced tab measures one-half inch wide for extra durability.

Upgrade from Single-Ply or Unfastened Folders

The two-ply tab resists tearing better than single-ply alternatives, while the bonded fasteners secure punched pages without separate hardware. Choose these when documents must stay in order and the tab endures frequent handling in end-tab shelving systems.

Limits of End-Tab Filing Systems

End-tab folders require compatible shelving or drawer frames that read the tab edge; they do not work with traditional top-tab cabinets. The 11pt stock supports moderate expansion but is not intended for very thick files that exceed the scored three-quarter inch capacity.

Questions about this item

What size shelf or drawer do I need for a box of 50 letter-size folders?

The folders are letter size, so the box fits standard letter-width shelving or drawers.

How do I fasten papers using the bonded fasteners in positions 1 and 3?

Align punched sheets with the two-inch bonded fasteners on the front panel, then bend the prongs flat to secure them.

When will the manila stock or the confidential print need replacing?

Replace folders when the 11pt manila tears, the confidential print fades, or the expansion score no longer holds 3/4-inch bulk.
