14pt Yellow File Folders

These 14pt manila stock folders come in a box of 50 and feature a yellow color for visual file coding. Each folder measures 12 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches high with an 11 3/4 inch body undercut to 11 3/8 inches. They are designed for letter-size documents and use a full-cut end tab layout.

Reinforced End Tab and Fasteners

A reinforced two-ply end tab spans 1/2 inch wide and includes scored tick marks to guide label placement. Two-inch bonded fasteners are fixed in positions one and three to secure papers at top and bottom. The folder is scored for 3/4 inch expansion to accommodate growing file volumes. The undercut front panel helps labels stand out for easier reading.

Upgrade From Single-Ply or Non-Fastened Folders

This product replaces single-ply tab folders that tear under frequent handling or basic folders lacking built-in fasteners. The jump is worth it when files are accessed daily and require secure, multi-point fastening with consistent label alignment. It is not suited for legal-size documents or systems requiring fastener positions other than one and three.

Questions about this item

What does the 14pt stock weight mean for daily filing?

The 14pt manila stock gives a rigid folder that resists bending when the box of 50 is handled or stored on end-tab shelves.

What are the critical dimensions for shelf fit?

The folder body is 11 3/4" wide and the full width is 12 1/4", with an undercut front panel at 11 3/8" for label clearance on standard letter-size shelving.

How do I attach the fasteners correctly?

The 2" bonded fasteners are already fixed in positions 1 and 3; simply fold the prongs through the punched holes to secure papers without adding hardware.
