The female end plugs directly into the existing PSU cable while the dual male ends feed the GPU, eliminating the need for a new power supply when only one 8-pin lead is available. Tinned copper conductors (34×0.12 mm, 18 AWG) with 2.1 mm OD PVC insulation handle the rated 80 °C operating temperature.
