Two-Pack 6.6ft VGA Extension

This BUCIER two-pack provides two 6.6ft VGA extension cables with 15-pin HD15 male-to-female connectors. Each cable extends an existing VGA link between a computer and a monitor, projector or HDTV. The 15-pin design supports video resolutions up to 1080p Full HD including 800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200 and 1920x1200. These cables carry video only and do not transmit audio.

Replaces Short Fixed Cables

The extensions replace or supplement short factory cables that cannot reach a display across a room or behind furniture. They connect directly to an existing male-to-male VGA cord or KVM switch to add reach without replacing the whole run. The jump is worth it when the current cable falls short of the mounting location or when a KVM switch sits farther from the screen than the stock cable allows. They do not work with 9-pin VGA devices.

Shielded for Stable Long Runs

Foil and braid shielding plus dual integrated ferrite cores suppress electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference along the full 6.6ft length. This construction maintains a clean video signal during extended use in environments with nearby power cables or electronics. The non-removable thumbscrews on the female end keep the connection secure under vibration or cable movement.

Questions about this item

How much clearance is needed behind the monitor to tighten the non-removable thumbscrews on the female VGA connector?

The female VGA connector has non-removable thumbscrews that must be tightened by hand, so allow enough rear clearance for your fingers to grip and turn them comfortably.

Do I need to install any drivers or software to use this VGA extension cable with my laptop and projector?

No drivers or software are required; the cable is a passive 15-pin VGA male-to-female extension that carries the video signal directly between the source and display.

Are the ferrite cores on the cable serviceable or replaceable if they become damaged?

The dual ferrite cores are moulded onto the cable during manufacturing and are not user-serviceable or replaceable.
