50-foot VGA cable with audio

This 15.24-metre VGA cable carries analog and extended VGA signals between two male DE-15 ports. It is built for users who need a long run to a monitor or projector while keeping the video path shielded. The integrated stereo audio line uses 3.5-millimetre plugs at each end.

Triple shielding for signal integrity

Three shielding layers protect the video conductors from electromagnetic interference over the full 50-foot length. Gold-plated contacts on the DE-15 connectors resist corrosion and maintain low resistance. The audio leads run parallel without adding measurable power draw or heat.

22-inch audio lead extension

Each 3.5-millimetre audio plug extends 22 inches past its DE-15 connector, letting the audio reach a sound card or monitor input without strain. This extra length removes the need for a separate audio cable in many setups. Buyers who need digital video or HDCP support should choose a different interface.

Questions about this item

How do I route the 50 ft VGA cable and the 22 in audio leads to the correct ports?

Run the DE-15 male connectors to the monitor and graphics card, then plug each 3.5 mm stereo plug into the sound card and the display audio input; the extra 22 inches on each audio lead gives slack for separate routing.

Will the gold-plated DE-15 connectors need cleaning or replacement over time?

Gold plating resists corrosion, so the connectors rarely need cleaning; if signal degrades, reseat both ends or replace the cable rather than service the plugs.

At 50 ft, what resolution limit appears first on long analogue runs?

Extended VGA resolutions are supported, but analogue signal loss over 15.24 metres typically caps usable resolution before the cable’s rated capability.
