Connects two computers to one monitor with 8K 60 Hz video and four USB 3.0 ports for shared peripherals
This KVM switch lets you operate two computers from one keyboard, mouse and monitor. It accepts two HDMI 2.1 sources and routes the selected signal to a single display. Switching is done by a front-panel button or a keyboard hotkey, so you can move between systems without unplugging cables. The unit is aimed at users who need a clean desk shared by a work laptop and a gaming rig.
The HDMI 2.1 path delivers 48 Gbps throughput, supporting 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, YUV 4:4:4 and HDR 10 with HDCP 2.3 compliance. Four downstream USB 3.0 ports share peripherals such as keyboards, mice, scanners, gamepads, card readers, printers and webcams between the two connected PCs. A dark-grey enclosure keeps the cabling tidy on a crowded desktop.
If you currently unplug and replug HDMI and USB cables to switch machines, this switch removes that wear and delay. The upgrade is worthwhile when both sources need 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz output and you want shared USB 3.0 accessories without a separate hub. It does not suit setups that require more than two computers or displays with resolutions beyond 8K 60 Hz.

The HDMI 2.1 link runs at 48 Gbps and supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with YUV 4:4:4 chroma, HDCP 2.3 and HDR 10.
Two HDMI cables from the computers to the switch inputs, one HDMI cable from the switch output to the monitor, and USB cables from each computer to the two upstream USB 3.0 ports; four downstream USB 3.0 ports remain for peripherals.
Press the front button or use the hotkey combination; the common mistake is forgetting to connect both upstream USB cables, which leaves keyboard and mouse control active on only one computer.
