Mini-SAS HD breakout for four SAS drives

This BUCIER cable splits one internal Mini-SAS HD SFF-8643 male connector into four SFF-8482 targets. Each target combines a SATA 7-pin data and a 15-pin power connector for direct attachment to hard drives or SSDs. The assembly includes a SATA power adapter cable and uses 30 AWG conductors rated for 6 Gbps per drive.

Thin 30 AWG routing with integrated power

At .5 metre the black-and-blue assembly stays flexible inside tight chassis while the integrated SATA power tails eliminate separate molex or SATA power runs to each drive. The forward-breakout wiring expects the SFF-8643 end on the controller or motherboard and the four SFF-8482 ends on the storage devices; reversing the direction will not work.

Replaces bulky multi-cable looms for 6 Gbps SAS

Builders moving from individual SATA cables or older SFF-8087 breakouts gain a single compact link that carries four 6 Gbps channels plus power.
