This 0.5 metre cable links an internal Mini SAS 36-pin SFF-8087 male port on a controller or motherboard to four SATA 7-pin female connectors for drives. It is built for professionals expanding storage with a SAS HBA or RAID card. The forward breakout design carries data from the host side to each target drive at up to 6 Gbps per channel. Buyers who need a cable for a backplane SFF-8087 port cannot use this product.
