Three SATA 3.0 cables with 90-degree locking connectors, 50 cm length, 6 Gbps rated for HDDs and SSDs
This three-pack supplies three SATA III cables with a 90-degree connector on each end, intended for builders adding or replacing hard drives, solid-state drives or optical drives. The white colour helps identify cables inside a case. Each cable carries a locking latch to resist vibration. The pack suits anyone expanding internal storage on a desktop system.
The cables conform to SATA revision 3.0 and support up to 6 Gbps transfer rates, doubling the ceiling of the previous revision while remaining backwards compatible with SATA I and SATA II devices. The upgrade is worthwhile when the host controller and the drive both support the higher signalling rate; otherwise the link will simply negotiate the lower speed.
Each end uses a straight 90-degree plug, so confirm that the motherboard and drive ports have enough clearance for the right-angle profile. The cables measure 50 cm (18 in), which suits typical mid-tower layouts but may fall short in full-tower or server chassis where routing distances are longer. Ensure the locking latches can engage fully on both devices.

Each cable is 50 cm (18 inch) long and uses a straight connector on one end with a 90-degree right-angle connector on the other.
Align the connector with the port, push straight in until the metal latch clicks, and pull gently to confirm it is locked; do not force the cable sideways.
Replace a cable if the latch no longer clicks, the connector wiggles in the port, or you see intermittent drive detection and data errors.
