A G 1/4in male-to-female brass coupler adds 15 mm of clearance with diamond-knurled grip for custom water-cooling loops

The Bykski G 1/4in Male/Female Extension Coupler is a brass fitting designed for custom liquid-cooling loops. It adds 15mm of thread-free length and 20mm overall height to create clearance between components. The diamond-knurled surface allows hand-tightening without tools. It suits builders who need a short spacer in a non-aluminium loop.
As a passive brass coupler it generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power. It simply extends the fluid path between two G 1/4in threaded ports. The metal construction withstands normal loop temperatures and pressures without affecting coolant flow or pump load. No active cooling or electrical connection is required.
The coupler replaces a direct port-to-port connection when components sit too close for a standard fitting to seat properly. It is worth adding when a reservoir, block or radiator port needs a few millimetres of offset to clear a motherboard heatsink, GPU backplate or tight tubing bend. It is not for loops that use aluminium parts or PrimoChill Opaque and VUE coolants.

Hand-tighten the male thread into the female port until the O-ring seats, then add a quarter turn with a soft-jaw wrench; skipping the final quarter turn is the most common cause of slow seepage.
Inspect the O-ring and internal finish annually; replace the coupler if the blue coating flakes or the threads show corrosion, especially after using coolants the maker warns against.
Chemical compatibility is the limiting factor — the internal finish may react with DI-water coolants and is explicitly incompatible with PrimoChill Opaque and VUE series, risking plating damage before any mechanical wear.
