Extension Coupler for Custom Loops

The Bykski G 1/4in Male/Female Extension Coupler adds 35 millimetres of thread length to any G 1/4in fitting in a custom water-cooling loop. It suits builders who need extra clearance between components or want to reposition a block, radiator or reservoir without re-plumbing the entire circuit. The brass body with diamond knurling provides a secure grip during installation. It is intended for non-aluminium loops only.

Verify Thread Standard and Coolant Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that every component you plan to connect uses a G 1/4in thread; other thread standards will not seal correctly. The manufacturer warns that the internal finish may react with distilled-water-based coolants and is not compatible with PrimoChill Opaque or VUE coolant series. Using those fluids can cause damage, so choose a compatible coolant or a different fitting if your loop requires them.

Brass Construction and Knurled Grip

The coupler is machined from brass and measures 40 millimetres overall height including threads, with a 35 millimetre unthreaded section. Diamond-pattern knurling on the exterior allows hand-tightening and easy removal without tools, reducing the risk of scratching adjacent parts. The male-to-female design threads directly into an existing female port and presents a new female port for the next fitting, keeping the loop tidy and leak-free when assembled correctly.
