Two HDMI Type A female ports handle the TV eARC output and soundbar eARC input while a third HDMI input takes the source signal. The metal enclosure supports CEC control so volume and power commands pass between TV, source and soundbar without extra remotes.

Check your TV and soundbar both have eARC HDMI ports

The converter requires an eARC-enabled television and an eARC soundbar such as Sonos Arc or Beam to deliver Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Standard ARC ports will not pass the high-bitrate formats listed in the specifications.
