1×8 HDMI Splitter Kit

The BG-HDA-E18 distributes one HDMI source to eight remote displays over category cable. It suits installers, educators and AV integrators who need identical video on multiple screens without running long HDMI leads. Buyers who require more than eight outputs or need 4K at 60 Hz will need a different solution.

Sustained Signal Distribution

The transmitter delivers 4K at 30 Hz up to 50 metres and 1080p at 60 Hz up to 70 metres with 297 MHz bandwidth. Power over cable feeds all eight receivers so no local power supplies are needed at the display end. HDCP 1.4 compliance maintains protected content playback continuously.

Build and Connectivity

The transmitter measures 295 mm wide by 82 mm deep by 18 mm high and weighs 628 g; each receiver is 79.5 mm by 69 mm by 16.5 mm at 130 g. One HDMI input, one HDMI loop output and eight RJ45 ports provide straightforward rack or shelf mounting. IR passthrough and link lights simplify day-to-day operation and troubleshooting.

Questions about this item

How much power does the transmitter draw when running all day?

The transmitter is the only unit that needs a power supply; each receiver gets its power over the CAT cable so no extra outlets are required at the display end.

What cables and displays must I already have to use this kit?

You need one HDMI source, up to eight HDMI displays, and eight CAT6 cables (up to 70 m for 1080p60 or 50 m for 4K30) to link each receiver.

Will a 1080p60 source work correctly with the 4K30 loop-out and the eight extended outputs?

Yes — the splitter accepts 1080p60 on the input, mirrors it on the local HDMI loop-out, and drives all eight CAT outputs at 1080p60 up to 230 ft.
