BZBGEAR BG-MAESTRO-H 8MP IP camera

The BZBGEAR BG-MAESTRO-H is an 8MP IP network camera designed for education and live streaming. It delivers 1080p@30Hz video over HDMI, USB 3.0, 3G-SDI and IP simultaneously. A 1/2.8 inch 4K CMOS sensor and 3x digital zoom provide clear images across a 15ft to 50ft tracking range.

Educators and streamers needing hands-free tracking

This camera suits teachers, presenters and solo streamers who want automatic subject tracking without extra software. Setup is done through a web interface. Buyers needing optical zoom, motorised pan-tilt movement or 4K streaming output should look at other models.

1080p@30Hz streaming with PoE simplicity

The camera comfortably handles 1080p@30Hz and 720p@60Hz streaming to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitch over RTSP, RTMP, ONVIF and GB/T28181. It runs out of headroom above 1080p@30Hz; 4K capture is used only for sensor cropping, not for output resolution.

Questions about this item

Does the BG-MAESTRO-H need a PoE switch or injector to run on a single cable?

Yes — it accepts 48 V PoE supply so one Ethernet cable carries both power and data when connected to a compliant switch or injector.

Can the camera stream to an existing NVR that only speaks ONVIF Profile S?

The camera supports ONVIF and the GB/T28181 protocol, so it will register and stream to any recorder that implements those standards.

How can I verify the auto-tracking is actually following a presenter at 30 ft?

Open the web interface, enable auto-tracking, and watch the live 1080p@30 Hz feed — the ePTZ window will pan, tilt and zoom up to 3× to keep the subject centred between 15 ft and 50 ft.
