Splitter for sixteen 4K displays

The BG-UHD-DA1X16 distributes one HDMI source to sixteen displays simultaneously. It handles 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 signals with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. Built for venues such as restaurants, bars and retail spaces that need identical content across many screens.

Bandwidth ceiling and cable reach

The 18Gbps bandwidth caps the signal at 4K@60Hz 8-bit; higher refresh rates or deeper colour are not possible. Active optical cables extend the run to 165 feet, while standard copper cables fall well short of that distance. Downscaling to 1080p is automatic per output, so legacy displays do not force the whole chain to a lower resolution.

Metal chassis, rack-friendly mounting.

The 268mm by 125mm by 40mm steel enclosure weighs 1.14KG and fits standard rack shelves. DIP switches on the rear panel manage EDID to stabilise handshakes across mixed displays. A stereo RCA output de-embeds audio for an external sound system, and HDMI CEC can trigger display power on and off when screens support it.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1x16 model or a smaller splitter for my install?

Choose the 1x16 when you need to feed up to sixteen displays from one source; fewer outputs mean a smaller, cheaper unit but less reach.

What does the 18Gbps bandwidth mean once the splitter is in my rack?

It carries 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 8-bit with HDR10 and Dolby Vision to every connected screen without compression.

How does the HDMI 2.2 spec limit cable runs in practice?

Standard copper cables reach shorter distances; active optical cables extend the link up to 165 feet while keeping full 4K@60Hz fidelity.
