Live-streaming PTZ camera

The BG-UPTZ-ND30X-W is a 2-megapixel PTZ network camera built for live streaming and production workflows. It delivers 1080p resolution at up to 60 frames per second through simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP outputs. The unit is powered by 12 V DC and supports Power over Ethernet for simplified cabling.

30x optical zoom lens

The camera uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive CMOS sensor paired with a 30x optical zoom lens covering a 65.1° wide-angle to 2.34° telephoto field of view. A 10x digital zoom extends reach further. The lens supports shutter speeds from 1/1 to 1/10,000 second for flexible exposure control in varying lighting conditions.

PoE and multi-protocol control

Power over Ethernet removes the need for a separate power cable, while RS232 and RS485 serial ports enable cascaded VISCA or Pelco-D/P control alongside IP and IR remote operation. The camera stores up to 255 preset positions for rapid recall. ONVIF Profile S and GB/T28181 compliance ensure broad VMS and NVR compatibility.

Questions about this item

What does the 30x optical zoom actually let me frame in a live production?

The 30x optical zoom covers a horizontal field of view from 65.1° wide down to 2.34° telephoto, so you can capture a full stage or isolate a single presenter without moving the camera.

How does NDI 4.0 integration affect bandwidth and cabling on my network?

NDI 4.0 runs over the LAN port with PoE, delivering low-latency 1080p60 video, audio, tally and control over a single Ethernet cable while using standard H.264 or H.265 compression.

What mounting footprint and clearance does the camera need?

The unit measures 178 mm long, 115.5 mm wide and 150.9 mm high, and the pan mechanism rotates 340° so allow side clearance for full movement.
