What it is and who it fits

The C-Line 48301 is a seven-pocket expanding file built for letter-size documents. It suits anyone who needs a single, portable holder for active paperwork such as project files, client records or household paperwork. The smoke-coloured polypropylene body is acid-free and archival-quality, so it protects papers without yellowing or degrading them over time.

Build, closure and everyday use

The folder measures 11 by 8.5 inches and uses a button-and-elastic closure that snaps shut to keep contents secure during transport. Six write-on tabs are included, letting you label each of the seven pockets for quick retrieval. The material is durable enough for daily handling in a bag or on a desk, and the expanding gussets allow the file to grow as you add more sheets.

Capacity limits and what it cannot do

The file holds only 8.5-by-11-inch pages; larger formats will not fit. Seven pockets with six tabs set a hard ceiling on how many distinct categories you can separate without doubling up. There is no lock, no water resistance and no rigid frame, so it is not suited for heavy-duty archival boxes or environments where crush protection is required.
