Product and Purpose

The C-Line 48305 is a 7-pocket expanding file folder designed for letter-size documents. It suits anyone who needs to sort and carry 8.5" x 11" paperwork in a single, secure holder. The red and blue colour scheme helps it stand out on a desk or in a bag.

Capacity and Headroom

Seven interior pockets divide a growing stack of pages into clear categories. Six write-on tabs let you label each section so retrieval stays fast. The acid-free, archival-quality polypropylene protects documents from yellowing or brittleness over time.

Closure and Limits

A button-elastic closure wraps the folder to keep contents inside during transport. The expanding sides stretch to accommodate thicker files, but the fixed letter format means larger sheets will not fit. Users needing legal-size storage or a rigid cover should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the C-Line 48305 expanding file fit inside my existing 11-inch deep letter-size filing cabinet drawer?

The file is designed for 8.5" x 11" letter-size documents, so it matches standard cabinet dimensions; the expanding pockets add bulk only when filled, but the base footprint remains letter-size.

How can I confirm the button-elastic closure is securing all seven pockets properly after I load the file?

Press the button through the elastic loop; the cover should sit flat against the back panel with no gaps, and the elastic should hold tension without slipping when you lift the file by the closure.

Does the 48305 come with the six write-on tabs already inserted, or do I need to buy tab inserts separately?

Six write-on tabs are included in the box; no additional tab inserts are required for the seven pockets.
