C2G Canada C2G02216 Cat6 UTP 28AWG 20ft 6.1m Blue network ethernet cable

20 ft Cat6 UTP Patch Cable

This 20 ft Category 6 UTP patch cable uses 28 AWG conductors for standard Ethernet connections. It is built for linking computers, switches, routers and other network devices in home or office environments. The blue jacket provides easy visual identification in a cable run. It arrives in new condition ready for immediate deployment.

Suits Temporary or Light-Duty Runs

The 28 AWG construction makes this cable flexible and easy to route through tight spaces or around furniture. It works well for patching between a wall jack and a desktop, laptop, printer or access point. Installers who need a thicker gauge for Power over Ethernet budgets above basic levels or for permanent in-wall horizontal cabling should select a different cable specification.

Category 6 Cable Type

The defining specification is the Category 6 rating, which supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1 Gbps over the full 20 ft length. The UTP design uses unshielded twisted pairs without an overall foil or braid screen. This cable type determines whether the link meets the performance class required by the network equipment.
