Indoor SJT rating and gauge limits

The SJT jacket restricts use to dry indoor locations and is not suitable for wet or outdoor environments. A 16 AWG conductor carries up to 13 A at 125 V, while lighter 18 AWG cords handle only 10 A and heavier 14 AWG or 12 AWG cords support 15 A and 20 A respectively.

Capacity for computers and light equipment
