Twist-lock 12 ft cord with 12 AWG copper, 10A/125V rating and UL/CSA certification for secure server and PDU power
Length 12ft
This 12 ft NEMA L6-30P to C19 cord delivers a secure twist-lock connection for servers and PDUs in data centres. The locking plug prevents accidental disconnection under vibration or rack movement. It uses 12 AWG, three-conductor copper with an SJT jacket rated to 105C and 300V. The black jacket aids circuit identification in dense racks.
The cord carries a 10A rating at 125V through its heavy-duty 12 AWG conductors. UL Listing and CSA certification (file E210037) confirm compliance with North American safety standards. RoHS compliance ensures restricted substances are absent from materials. The SJT jacket withstands operating temperatures up to 105C without degrading insulation performance.
Under continuous 10A draw the 12 AWG copper limits voltage drop across the 12 ft length better than thinner gauges. The twist-lock mechanism maintains full contact pressure over time, avoiding resistance rise from loose plugs. The 300V cable rating provides margin above the 125V operating voltage during prolonged use. It is not suited for circuits requiring higher amperage than 10A or non-locking outlets.

Align the plug blades with the outlet slots, push fully in, then twist clockwise until it locks. The step people miss is the final twist; without it the cord can pull loose under vibration.
Inspect the jacket and connectors periodically for cracks, discolouration or heat damage. Replace the cord if the insulation hardens, the locking mechanism slips, or the plug shows pitting.
The 10 ampere rating is the first limit. Drawing more than 10 amps continuously will overheat the conductors before the 300 volt insulation rating becomes a factor.
