Extends a C14/C13 power link by 15 ft with 14 AWG, 15 A, 250 V SJT cable, UL Listed and CSA certified
This 15 ft black extension cord adds length between a rack PDU, UPS or server and your existing C13-ended power cable. It uses a male IEC 60320 C14 plug on one end and a female C13 socket on the other so no adapter is required. The heavy duty 14 AWG SJT jacketed cable contains three grounded copper conductors rated for 15A at 250V.
An 18 AWG cord handles only up to 10A for light electronics, while a 16 AWG cord manages up to 13A for typical computers. This 14 AWG cord supports up to 15A, making the jump worthwhile when powering servers, switches or higher-draw rack equipment. It is not intended for 20A loads that require a 12 AWG cable.
The SJT jacket is rated to 105C and 300V, so the cord maintains its electrical integrity under continuous server and data-centre loads rather than just short bursts. UL Listing and CSA certification (file E210037) confirm compliance with safety standards for prolonged operation. RoHS compliance ensures restricted substances are absent throughout the cable.

The IEC 60320 C14 plug and C13 socket are standard low-profile connectors; allow roughly 50 mm behind the PDU for the plug body and strain relief.
Installers often exceed the jacket's 105 °C rating by bundling it tightly with hot exhaust airflow; leave an air gap or use separate vertical managers.
Inspect annually; replace if the SJT jacket shows cracking, the C13 socket grips loosely, or the UL Listed E210037 label becomes illegible.
