A 15 ft red 14 AWG IEC C14-to-C13 extension cord rated 15 A / 250 V for server racks and PDUs, SJT jacketed, UL and CSA certified
This 15 ft red extension cord adds length between a rack PDU, UPS or server and an existing C13 power cord. A male IEC 60320 C14 plug connects to the power source while the female C13 socket accepts the equipment cord without any adapter.
The SJT-jacketed three-conductor copper cable is rated 15 A at 250 V with a 105 °C and 300 V insulation rating, making it suitable for servers, switches and AV gear in data-centre environments. Builders needing only light-duty 10 A or 13 A cords for desktop equipment should consider thinner gauges instead.
The cord plugs directly into any IEC 60320 C14 outlet on a PDU or UPS and passes power through to a C13 inlet, leaving the original equipment cable free of strain. The red jacket aids circuit tracing in dense racks, and UL plus CSA certification (file E210037) confirms compliance for professional installations.

You need an existing C13-terminated cord that plugs into the female C13 socket on this extension; the male C14 plug then goes into your PDU, UPS or other C14 source.
No — 18 AWG is rated to 10 A, while this 14 AWG SJT cord is rated to 15 A / 250 V, so it handles higher server and PDU loads without overheating.
The UL Listed and CSA certified markings (file E210037) on the SJT jacket verify the 15 A / 250 V rating, and the red colour lets you trace the circuit visually in the rack.
