Extends C14-to-C13 power connections by two feet using 16 AWG, 13A/250V SJT cable with UL and CSA certification
The Cable Leader 2 ft extension cord adds reach between a rack PDU, UPS or server and your existing C13 power cord. It uses a male IEC 60320 C14 plug on one end and a female C13 socket on the other. The black SJT jacket helps identify circuits in dense rack environments. It is built for standard server, switch and AV gear connections.
The 16 AWG three-conductor copper cable is rated for 13A at 250V with a 105C, 300V cable rating. This gauge handles typical computer and rack loads up to 13A. Lighter 18 AWG cords only support 10A, while 14 AWG and 12 AWG versions exist for 15A and 20A equipment respectively. UL Listed and CSA certified under file E210037, RoHS compliant.
The wire gauge is the single figure that determines if this cord suits your load. At 16 AWG it delivers up to 13A for standard servers and rack devices. Buyers who need 15A for higher-draw PDUs or 20A for heavy-duty equipment must choose 14 AWG or 12 AWG cords instead. This cord will not support those heavier loads.

16 AWG is rated 13 A at 250 V, suitable for computers and general rack gear; 18 AWG handles only 10 A for lighter loads, while 14 AWG covers 15 A and 12 AWG covers 20 A for heavier draw
It means the 16 AWG SJT cable can continuously carry 13 amps at up to 250 volts, with a 105 °C / 300 V insulation rating, so typical server loads stay well within its certified capacity
The male C14 plug fits standard PDU or UPS outlets and the female C13 socket accepts any matching C13 cord, capping the connection at the cord's 13 A / 250 V rating
