Rack-Secure Power Cord for 30A Equipment

This three-foot locking cord connects servers and PDUs to a NEMA L5-30R outlet in data centers and server rooms. The twist-lock plug prevents accidental disconnection under vibration or cable movement. A 10 AWG SJTW jacket rated to 105C and 300V carries 30A at 125V on three grounded copper conductors. UL Listed and CSA certified (file E210037), RoHS compliant.

Replaces Standard Cords That Can Dislodge

The twist-lock mechanism replaces straight-blade cords that can be pulled loose in dense racks or during maintenance. The step up from 12 AWG rated to 20A is justified when equipment draws up to 30A or when a locking receptacle is already installed. Lighter gauges such as 14 AWG (15A), 16 AWG (13A) or 18 AWG (10A) cannot support this load safely.

Fits Locking Rack Outlets and Frees Cable Slack

Male L5-30P to female L5-30R termination plugs directly into locking PDUs or wall outlets without adapters.
