A 35 ft heavy-duty 14 AWG cord connects a NEMA 5-15P outlet to an IEC C13 inlet at 15 A / 125 V with UL and CSA certification
This 35-foot cord connects a PC, monitor, server, printer or any IEC-60320 C13 inlet to a standard NEMA 5-15P wall outlet, power strip or PDU. It uses heavy-duty 14 AWG three-conductor copper with an SJT jacket rated 105 °C and 300 V. The fully molded connectors include strain relief and a true three-wire grounded design. It carries UL and CSA certification (file E210037) and is RoHS compliant.
The 14 AWG construction supports up to 15 A at 125 V, making it appropriate for servers, PDUs and higher-draw equipment that need a 15-amp rated cord. Builders who need a lighter 16 AWG or 18 AWG cable for lower-current devices, or who require a 20-amp rated 12 AWG cord for 20 A circuits, should choose a different gauge.
Wire gauge is the deciding factor: this cord is 14 AWG rated for 15 A at 125 V. If your equipment or circuit demands a 20-amp rating you need 12 AWG; if the draw is 13 A or less a 16 AWG cord will work.

The cord is built with 14 AWG grounded copper and a 105C-rated SJT jacket; under normal indoor use it should not require scheduled replacement, and the manufacturer offers a lifetime replacement if it ever fails.
The 15A / 125V rating is the design limit; the 14 AWG conductors and SJT insulation are rated for 300V and 105C, so the 15A current ceiling is reached before the thermal or voltage ratings.
At 15A the 14 AWG copper produces measurable but normal resistive heating; the SJT jacket is rated to 105C, so the cord stays within its thermal design during continuous full-load operation.
