A three-foot 18 AWG cord connects a NEMA 5-15P plug to a C13 inlet for PCs, monitors and printers at 10 A, 125 V with UL and CSA certification
Color White
This three-foot cord connects a standard NEMA 5-15P wall plug to an IEC 60320 C13 inlet found on most desktop PCs, monitors, printers and similar equipment. It supplies 125 V at up to 10 A using 18 AWG SJT copper conductors with a 300 V insulation rating. The white jacket and moulded strain relief suit office or rack environments where a short, tidy link is preferred.
The 18 AWG conductors are rated for a maximum of 10 amps at 125 volts and an operating temperature of 105 °C. Exceeding either limit can degrade the insulation or trip the circuit breaker, so the cord must not be used for higher-draw appliances such as space heaters or large laser printers. The UL and CSA certifications (file E210037) confirm compliance with North American safety standards for this ampacity class.
At exactly three feet the cable only spans short distances between a wall outlet or PDU and the device inlet. Builds that route power behind rack rails, across wide desks or through cable-management channels will find the length insufficient and should select a longer cord instead.
