This 5-foot Cat6 cable provides a wired Gigabit Ethernet link for routers, switches, patch panels, keystone jacks, PCs and PoE devices. It uses 24 AWG bare copper conductors in four twisted pairs terminated with 8P8C RJ45 plugs featuring 50-micron gold-plated contacts. The yellow jacket aids visual identification in structured cabling environments. It is tested to 550 MHz, exceeding the Cat6 minimum of 250 MHz, and remains backward compatible with Cat5e infrastructure.

Non-Booted Plug for High-Density Panels

The non-booted RJ45 design removes the molded boot found on standard patch cables, allowing the connector to seat cleanly inside tightly packed patch panels and keystone jacks. This physical profile improves airflow around dense port blocks and simplifies cable routing in server rooms and data centres. No shielding is present, so the cable relies on the twisted-pair geometry for noise rejection. It fits any standard RJ45 port without requiring specialised mounting hardware or additional clearance.
