A 6 ft heavy-duty 12 AWG extension with male C20 plug and female C19 socket extends server or PDU power runs at 20A / 250V, SJT jacketed and UL Listed, in yellow for rack colour-coding
This yellow 6 ft extension cord connects a male IEC 60320 C20 plug to a female C19 socket, adding reach between a rack PDU, UPS or server and your existing power cord. It uses heavy duty 12 AWG SJT-jacketed copper rated for 20A at 250V with a 105C / 300V cable rating. UL Listed and CSA certified (file E210037), RoHS compliant.
When the stock cable from a server, switch or AV device cannot reach the PDU, this 12 AWG jumper closes the gap without an adapter. The 20A rating makes it suitable for 20A equipment, whereas 18 AWG handles up to 10A, 16 AWG up to 13A and 14 AWG up to 15A for lower-draw gear.
The IEC 60320 C19/C20 connectors are standard on rack PDUs and high-draw servers but do not fit common C13/C14 inlets found on most desktop PCs and monitors. Builders needing to extend a C13/C14 connection or requiring a different amperage rating must choose a cord with matching connectors and gauge.

Both connectors follow the IEC 60320 standard used on rack PDUs, UPS units and servers, so they fit the same panel cut-outs as any C20/C19 pair.
Push the male C20 plug fully into the PDU or UPS outlet until it seats, then insert the existing cord's C19 plug into the female end until it clicks — partial insertion is the common mistake.
Inspect the yellow jacket periodically; replace the cord if the insulation shows cracks, discolouration from 105C heat exposure, or if the C19 socket grips a plug loosely.
