The Cable Leader Cat6a patch cable provides a 10 Gigabit wired connection for PS5, Xbox, gaming PC, router, NAS or smart TV. At 5 ft the green cord keeps a desk or console area tidy while delivering lower latency, less jitter and fewer dropped packets than a typical Wi-Fi link. It is built to the Cat6a standard using 24AWG stranded bare copper conductors in four twisted pairs around a cross-shaped spline.

Cat6a distance and frequency limits

The Cat6a standard supports 10GBASE-T up to 100 meters at 500MHz, so the 5 ft length is well within the maximum reach for full 10 Gigabit throughput. The cable is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e equipment, allowing a drop-in upgrade without replacing switches, routers or network cards. Its 6.9 mm outer diameter and unshielded UTP construction suit standard patch-panel and wall-plate installations.
