24 AWG stranded bare copper conductors

Each of the four twisted pairs uses 24 AWG stranded bare copper around a 6.9 mm cross-spline core to keep crosstalk low and signal integrity high. The 50-micron gold-plated contacts on the 8P8C RJ45 plugs resist corrosion and maintain a solid connection over repeated insertions.
