This 25-foot Cat 6 Ethernet cable delivers 10Gbps data transfer over copper. It connects PCs, servers, printers, routers and other LAN components with RJ45 plugs. The 24 AWG bare copper conductors meet the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standard for Category 6 performance. Backwards compatibility lets it work with existing Cat 5 network infrastructure.

550 MHz bandwidth and distance limits

The cable operates at 550 MHz frequency to support 10-Gigabit Ethernet speeds. At this performance tier the 10Gbps rate is sustainable up to the full 25-foot length. Beyond that distance the standard drops to 1Gbps, so longer runs would need Cat 6A or Cat 8 cable. Shielding is not included, so the cable is best suited to low-interference indoor environments.

Gold-plated RJ45 connectors with strain relief

Each end carries an RJ45 plug with gold-plated contacts and a moulded strain-relief boot. The boot protects the termination from bending stress during routing and repeated insertion. Snagless tabs prevent the latch from catching on adjacent cables or panel cut-outs. The black PVC jacket resists abrasion in typical office or home installations.
