This Cat 6A patch cord uses 26 AWG copper conductors and SSTP/SFTP shielding to deliver 10 Gbps data rates over 7 ft. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts and strain-relief boots ensure a secure, durable connection for LAN components such as PCs, servers, printers, routers, switches, NAS devices, VoIP phones and PoE endpoints. Backward compatible with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet networks. Meets or exceeds TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6A performance standards at 550 MHz bandwidth.

Fits standard RJ45 ports without extra adapters

The shielded connectors plug directly into any RJ45 jack on routers, switches, servers or end devices, freeing the builder from sourcing separate keystones or couplers. Snagless boots protect the latch during routing through cable management channels or tight rack spaces. Bare copper conductors satisfy communication-cable specifications for permanent or temporary installations.

Maintains 10 Gbps throughput under continuous load

The SSTP/SFTP design suppresses EMI and crosstalk so sustained 10-Gigabit transfers remain stable without the error bursts seen on unshielded Cat 6 links. Shielded connectors and gold-plated contacts resist oxidation that can degrade signal integrity over time. Not suited for runs requiring 40 Gbps or 2000 MHz operation, nor for environments demanding outdoor-rated or plenum-rated jackets.
