Product Purpose

This two-pack of 16 AWG power extension cords extends the reach of standard North American AC plugs by six feet each. They suit home or office users who need to position small appliances, seasonal lighting or computer equipment farther from a wall outlet.

Installation Notes

Each cord carries a NEMA 5-15P male plug and a matching NEMA 5-15R female connector with moulded strain relief, so connection is a simple push-fit. The white SJT jacket stays flexible for routing around furniture, but the cords are rated for indoor use only despite marketing images that show outdoor scenes.

Practical Limits

The 16 AWG conductors are rated at 13 amps and 1625 watts maximum, which covers most desktop computers, monitors and small kitchen appliances. Heavier loads such as space heaters, large power tools or high-wattage audio amplifiers will exceed this rating and require a thicker-gauge cord.
