8 ft Yellow Cat6 Patch Cable

This 8 ft yellow Cat6 snagless patch cable connects two RJ45 ports with a stranded UTP construction rated at 550 MHz. It uses 24 AWG conductors in four twisted pairs and 50 micron gold plated staggered pins to limit cross-talk. The bubble boot design prevents the latch from catching during routing. It meets or exceeds Category 6 EIA/TIA specifications with CM fire rating and ETL verification.

Suited for Gigabit links not for shielded installs

The cable supports 10, 100 and Gigabit Ethernet and is backwards compatible with Category 5e and Category 5 networks. It fits standard RJ45 jacks on routers, switches, PCs and patch panels where unshielded twisted pair is specified. Installers who need shielded or outdoor rated cable should look at a different product because this cable is UTP and CM rated only.
