A 7 ft orange Cat6 patch cable with snagless boots, 24 AWG stranded UTP and 50 micron gold-plated staggered RJ45 connectors rated at 550 MHz
This is a seven-foot orange Cat6 patch cable with RJ45 male-to-male connectors on each end. It uses 24AWG stranded UTP construction rated at 550 MHz and is designed for 10/100 Base-T and Gigabit Ethernet links. The cable suits home-office desks, small-business racks or any installer who needs a short, colour-coded run between a router, switch, patch panel or wall outlet and a PC, printer or access point. It is not for buyers who need shielded cable, outdoor-rated jacket, plenum rating or lengths beyond seven feet.
The jacket carries a CM fire rating and meets TIA 568B wiring with ETL verification. Each connector has 50-micron gold-plated staggered pins in a two-row layout to limit cross-talk, and moulded bubble boots prevent the tabs from catching on neighbouring cables during moves or rack changes. Stranded conductors keep the cable flexible for frequent re-patching, while the snagless boots protect the latch through repeated insertions. The orange colour aids quick visual tracing in dense panels.
Confirm that your devices use standard RJ45 ports and that a seven-foot reach covers the distance between them without tension. Ensure the existing infrastructure is Cat5e or higher so the link can negotiate Gigabit speeds; the cable is backward compatible with Category 5e and Category 5. Check that CM-rated cable satisfies local fire-code requirements for the intended pathway. No tool-less keystone termination is provided, so the cable is ready to plug in only.

The 550 MHz rating supports 10/100 Base-T and Gigabit Ethernet speeds across the 7 ft length.
The moulded snagless boots add bulk around each RJ45 plug, so allow extra depth behind the port for the boot to seat without bending the cable sharply.
Align the gold-plated staggered pins with the jack, push straight in until the boot clicks, and avoid angling the connector which can bend the delicate pin array.
