Vertical wall rack for light 19" gear

This 3U open-frame rack mounts standard 19-inch equipment vertically on a wall. It is intended for network switches, routers, patch panels and other light-duty devices in offices, home labs or small data rooms. The compact profile keeps floor space clear while keeping ports accessible. Builders needing deeper shelves or heavier servers should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power

The steel frame has no fans, no power supply and no moving parts, so it adds zero noise and zero power draw to the installation. Passive airflow depends entirely on the room and the mounted devices themselves. No thermal ratings or acoustic figures are provided by the manufacturer.

11 lb load limit

The rack is rated to hold up to 11 lbs of equipment. Exceeding this limit risks deformation or mounting failure, so verify the combined weight of every device you plan to install before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 19.25" wide rack to the wall without misaligning the 19" equipment holes?

Use the included mounting hardware to secure the rack to wall studs, ensuring the vertical rails stay level so the standard 19" hole pattern lines up correctly for your gear.

Will the black steel frame or its finish need any upkeep after installation?

The sturdy black steel construction is designed for durability with no routine maintenance required; simply keep the rack free of dust and check that mounting screws remain tight over time.

What happens if I load the rack with equipment heavier than the 11lbs limit?

Exceeding the 11lbs capacity risks bending the 3.8" deep vertical rails or pulling the wall mounts loose, so stay within the rated weight for safe, sustained operation.
